WATERCOLOR ON PAPER, 16x20" - I loved walking through Venice! The faded colors and weathered shutters and doors really give you a sense of history and texture. Around every corner is a new painting, and with the constant movement of the sun, the shadows give new drama all through the day. I was drawn to how the shadow fell on this old wall while the open window was in the spotlight.
